Food was excellent and delivered quickly, with nice service even during a very busy Easter Saturday. Would definitely visit again! Only drawback, bookings only taken for groups 6, so if you're a smaller group and expect it to be busy, be sure to arrive in good time before you want to eat.
Really nice place in the centre of the city centre. Went in for a coffee, then returned for lunch. Very busy, cateredfor dogs, children, lovely staff giving a very friendly, genuine smiling service. The owner has chosen and trained staff well Probably 40 plus tables, and had to wait only a few minutes to be seated, despite how busy it was. Tables cleared swiftly once patrons left, but never felt like you were being rushed. Did wait about 20 for food to arrive, but worth it. Good menu, varied options, made the mistake of ordering the big breakfast, it was huge, but most importantly it was all still hot on the plate. Wife had a chicken, bacon and avocado burger with salad. Really good value, with tea each , just 35. Definitely a do again next time in Ely
I have Coeliac Disease and all the 'Lounges' have an extensive, separate gluten free They do always draw your attention to their allergen notice as they do have allergens in the kitchen. But I feel they take good care to prevent cross contamination. Meal was lovely, service excellent, staff all lovely.

First time in the Piccolo Lounge, impressive decor and seating which gives the restaurant a cozy feeling. Warm welcome and a wide range of menu options. We went on Tapas Tuesday which was a great deal, 3 dishes and a drink for around 13. Food was served in good time and was very tasty. Desert was good, we shared the GF Brownie, highly recommended. Overall, a good value homely bar/restaurant ideal to catch up with friends over good food and drinks.
